Plesk 10 automatically suspending my websites

This article explains why reseller domains are automatically suspended in Plesk 10 control panel.

Applies to:

  • Plesk 10 Windows Reseller Hosting

Plesk is automatically suspending your domains because the Service Plan assigned to your subscription is set to expired in 01 year (default setting). Therefore when domain completes 01 year in hosting the Plesk control panel suspends the subscription.

  1. Login to Plesk control panel as reseller.
  2. Click Customers. The customers listed as bold red subscriptions have expired service plan and are set the suspend within 24-hour.
  3. Make a list of BOLD RED service plan names.

  4. Go to Service Plans, find the service plan you want to edit and click on its name.
  5. One the next screen, scroll down to bottom. Set validity period to Unlimited by ticking “Unlimited" checkbox

  6. Click Update & Sync button

That’s it! All subscriptions assigned to this service plan will remain active forever. Repeat the procedure for remaining problematic service plans.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. If after Update & Sync operation the subscription status says LOCKED it implies that Subscription was customized which has caused it to lock. In such situation Update & Sync operration on Service Plan will not update the locked subscription. To solve this you need to edit the subscription directly and set unlimited validity period for each subscription individually. To do this:
    1. Go to Subscription, click on the Subscription you want to update.
    2. Click Customize button. Scroll down to Validity Period and set Unlimited validity for the subscription.
    3. Click Ok button.

This procedure will set unlimited validity for Subscription and Locks it down.
