If you are locked out of your WordPress admin dashboard, you can easily reset your password manually using phpMyAdmin from your cPanel.
Step 1: Access phpMyAdmin

Log in to your cPanel account.

Scroll down to the Databases section and click on phpMyAdmin.
Step 2: Locate your WordPress Database

In phpMyAdmin, click on Databases from the top menu to view all databases in your account.

Click on your specific WordPress database name.
Step 3: Open the Users Table

Look for the users table (usually named
wp_users, or with your custom database prefix likeyourprefix_users). -
Click on it to view the table contents.
Step 4: Edit the Administrator User

Find your admin username in the list and click the Edit button next to it.
Step 5: Change the Password

Locate the
user_passinput box. -
Clear the existing encrypted text and type your new password.

From the function dropdown menu next to
user_pass, selectMD5to hash the password properly. -
Click the Go button at the bottom right to save the changes.
You can now log in to your WordPress admin dashboard using your new password!
