Transferring or changing ownership of a .pk domain is different from transferring most other domain extensions like .com. Below are the steps to transfer or change ownership of .pk domains (e.g., .com.pk, .net.pk, or .pk).
Transferring a .PK Domain to Hostbreak.com
Authority Letter:
The current domain owner (not their agent or technical contact) must provide an authority letter to PKNIC.
This letter should be on the company's letterhead, bearing the official seal.
For Pakistani citizens, a copy of the CNIC (national identity card) of the company's head or director is also required.
The letter must include details of both the current account from which the domain is being transferred and the account to which it is being transferred.
Affidavit Requirement:
If the registrant's name does not match the name on the company letterhead, an affidavit must be provided.
The affidavit should mention the official authorization and must be on a Rs. 100 stamp paper, attested by an oath commissioner.
For Individual Registrants:
An affidavit is required if the registrant is an individual.
The affidavit must be on a Rs. 100 stamp paper and attested by an oath commissioner.
Mailing Address:
The authority letter should be mailed to:
PKNIC Collection
Suite #704, 7th Floor, Siddique Trade Center,
Main Boulevard, Gulberg,
Lahore, Pakistan.
Email Verification:
The current domain owner or agent will be asked to consent to the domain transfer.
The new account holder will need to accept the incoming domain transfer request.
Transferring a .PK Domain from Hostbreak.com to Another Company
Hostbreak.com does not provide assistance with transferring a domain out, as the process does not require any action from their side. However, the PKNIC ID may be needed when filling out the transfer forms. The PKNIC ID for Hostbreak.com is 3504.
For more details, you can refer to the official .pk domain registry at PKNIC.
