How To Activate Cloudflare In CPANEL?

 

You can now enable CloudFlare service easily, right from your cPanel. You will see CloudFlare service as a separate icon in your cPanel and follow the following steps to activate the CloudFlare features for your websites:

 

PARTIAL (CNAME) SETUP

1.      Login to your cPanel account and under Software section look for the CloudFlare icon.

                                 

2.    Click on the CloudFlare icon, and CloudFlare login page will get open. If you've already signed up with CloudFlare, you can simply log in to CloudFlare account. If you have not signed up with CloudFlare yet, sign up by clicking on the Signup link located at the bottom.

                                          

3.     Fill in details your email address, password and then check the checkbox I agree to CloudFlare's terms and conditions and privacy policy. Click on the Sign Up for CloudFlare button located at the bottom of the form.

                                                                                           

4.    CloudFlare will now create your account and connect to the client service. You will be able to manage your CloudFlare account either from cPanel or from CloudFlare's own control panel. To login at CloudFlare's control panel, use the credentials you used while signing up.

5.   On the next page, in the Add a Website text box, type the domain to be proxied by Cloudflare. 

                                                                           

6.    A brief introductory video appears while DNS for the domain is analyzed. When the video and analysis complete, click Continue.

7.    DNS analysis results appear on the next page. The settings shown are not important since this method does not use them. Click Continue.

8.   On the next page, choose a plan. Click Free Website, and then click Confirm Plan:

                                                                                        

9.   The next page displays nameservers to use for your domain. At this point, you can close the Cloudflare window. There is no need to update nameservers when using the Partial (CNAME) setup.

10.  Return to the cPanel main page by clicking the logo at the top left of the page.

11.   Return to the Cloudflare page by clicking on the Cloudflare icon.

12. Click on the Domain you want to Edit.

13. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Remove domain from Cloudflarebutton.

                                                                                                                                                

14. The page will refresh after a moment. Now the Partial (CNAME) setup can be chosen by clicking the Provision Domain with CNAME Setup button.   

                         

FULL DNS SETUP.

To activate Cloudflare with Full DNS Setup follow these step:

1. Login to your cPanel account and under Software section look for the CloudFlare icon.

2.    Click on the CloudFlare icon, and CloudFlare login page will get open. If you've already signed up with CloudFlare, you can simply log in to CloudFlare account. If you have not signed up with CloudFlare yet, sign up by clicking on the Signup link located at the bottom.

3.     Fill in details your email address, password and then check the checkbox I agree to CloudFlare's terms and conditions and privacy policy. Click on the Sign Up for CloudFlare button located at the bottom of the form.

4.    CloudFlare will now create your account and connect to the client service. You will be able to manage your CloudFlare account either from cPanel or from CloudFlare's own control panel. To login at CloudFlare's control panel, use the credentials you used while signing up.

5.   On the next page, in the Add a Website text box, type the domain to be proxied by Cloudflare. 

6.    A brief introductory video appears while DNS for the domain is analyzed. When the video and analysis complete, click Continue.

7.    After clicking Continue in step 6 above, DNS analysis results appear on the next page. Review the DNS settings to make sure they are correct. Make any necessary changes and then click Continue.

8.   On the next page, choose a plan. Click Free Website, and then click Confirm Plan:

                                                                                 

9.    The next page displays nameservers to use for your domain. Note down the nameservers.

10.   Use the control panel at the domain’s registrar to change the nameservers to those provided by Cloudflare.

11.    Cloudflare will be active once the nameserver changes have propagated - typically 24 hours or less.
