Why your emails go to spam folder?

Some Common Reasons: Why Emails go to spam?

1.  Your Subject Line is Misleading:

The subject line is the only thing a recipient has to go on when deciding whether it’s spam or not and whether they should open it. Convince and Convert says that “69 percent of email recipients email as spam based solely on the subject line.”

2. Using Spam Trigger Words:

Email spam filters look at the content within your email to decide whether it goes into the spam folder or receiver's  inbox.”

Writing things like “Compete for your business!” or “Income from Home money making!” is a  way to gain unwanted attention from filters at the receiving end. If they notice questionable “trigger words,” then your email is likely to be sent to spam even if you have the best of intentions.

So it’s important to know which specific words to avoid like the ones listed by the Digital Training Institute.

3. Using incorrect spelling and Grammer:

In phishing emails, there is a surprising frequency of spelling and grammatical errors.  So spam filters are on high alert, and spelling and grammatical errors could land your email in the spam folder.

So you need to take extra care of spellings and grammar about double and even triple-checking each email before sending it out.

4. Large Image with Less Text:

Using a large image with less text is another reason for consideration of emails as spam.

5. Attachments are included in Email:

Try to avoid attachments in emails, they alert spam filters and reduce the chances of your email to reach recipient’s inbox.

Spam filters are designed in such a way that they know, an attachment could be carrying some viruses that’s just waiting to overtake an unsuspecting victim’s device.
