How to Create an Email Address in Plesk
You can create an email address for your domain from the Plesk Control Panel.
Follow these steps:
-
Log in to your Plesk Control Panel.
-
From the Websites & Domains section, locate the domain for which you want to create an email address.
-
Open the management page for the required domain.
-
Go to Mail account under Mail section.
-
Click Create Email Address.
-
Enter the name of the email address in the Email address field. The domain name will be associated with the selected domain.
-
Make sure the Mailbox option is enabled if you want to create a mailbox for this address.
-
If you only want to use the address for forwarding incoming messages to another email address, you can disable the mailbox option and configure email forwarding.
-
-
Specify the Mailbox size, or leave the default value provided by your hosting plan.
-
Enter a strong password for the email account and confirm it.
-
Click OK or Create to create the email address.
The new email address will now be available in mail accounts under the Mail section of the selected domain, where you can manage its mailbox and email settings.
If the Mail Option Is Not Available
If the Mail Accounts option is not visible for the selected domain, email service may be disabled for that domain.
-
Open the required domain's management page from Websites & Domains.
-
Check the Mail Settings section.
-
If email service is disabled, enable the Mail Service option.
-
Save the changes.
-
Return to the Mail section and verify that Mail Accounts and Create Email Address are now available.
Note: If the Mail Service option is not available or cannot be enabled, it may be restricted by the hosting plan or server configuration. In this case, contact your hosting provider.
