Plesk 10 - WordPress Error PHP MYSQL Extension Not Found

CANNOT INSTALL WORDPRESS ON PLESK10

ISSUE:

Cannot install WordPress on Plesk10 for Windows

DETAIL:

When installing WordPress on your domain through Plesk 10 you receive following error:

Error: Unable to install the app because its installation requirements are not met. Contact your hosting provider to resolve this problem.

PHP Extension: MySQL extension is not available.

SOLUTION:

Plesk only allows WordPress to be installed on those domains who are directing to the server on which Plesk is currently installed. Most likely the domain is not pointing to our hosting service or you changed the name servers recently and these have not propagated yet.

Make sure:

1- Set the name servers of your domain appropriately.
2- Wait for 24-48 hours till the DNS is propagated.

Note: If you have already configured your name servers, kindly check if the DNS is propagated or not. After performing these actions, you must be able to install WordPress on your website using Plesk 10.x.
