How to download account backup in Plesk panel?

This article explains the procedure to generate and download account backup from Plesk panel.

Steps:

Please follow these steps to download your website backup from Plesk panel:

  1. Login to your Plesk panel.
  2. Click on Account from left panel.
  3. Select Backup my Account and Website.
  4. On the next page, click on Backup Tab

    1. Select the backup content and type.
    2. Exclude the log files if possible.
    3. Tick the box When a backup task is completed, send a notification email to and enter an email address.
      Note: You will receive the notification on this email when backup is ready.
    4. Click Ok.
  5. When backup is ready, you will see a download arrow in front of back up file.
  6. Click on this arrow to download the backup to your computer.
