How do I set default file name for my homepage? - Plesk 9

Default file name is used to show the homepage when someone writes www.your-website.com. For example, if you want to setup default.php as your homepage file you will have to make sure it is in the website's default document list. To set/change default file, follow these steps:

1. Login to Plesk at http://plesk.yourwebsite.com

2. Click Domains, click Manage Hosting.

3. Click Virtual Directories button and then click on the Directory Properties button.

4. Here you willl multiple options, scroll down to Documents section. Here you can add any default document to the list or can change default document priority. So, if index.html is on top in the listing and you have index.html the website will show this file when someone writes www.your-website.com.
