Migrate an existing website with us:

Since all packages cover free migration, our team will perform the migration for you without any data loss and downtime. To avail this service, send us an email at [email protected] or open a ticket through your client area and provide us your old control panel login credentials.

To open a ticket:

  1. Log in to your client area.
  2. From the top bar, click on open ticket.
  3. Select support.
  4. In the subject, mention ‘website migration’.
  5. In related services, select your hosting package.
  6. In the message body, provide your website’s old control panel login credentials.
  7. When the migration process will complete, our team will notify you by replying to your email/ticket.

Change the DNS:

To connect your domain name to your website you’ll need to change your nameservers.

NOTE: If you also transfer your domain with Hostbreak, you do not have to perform this step.

Otherwise, follow these steps to change your nameservers:

  1. Log in to the client area of the hosting company where your domain is registered.
  2. Go to manage domain>Manage DNS>Change Nameservers.
  3. Enter the nameservers which we provided to you in the Account activation email.
  4. If you cannot find the option to change Nameservers in your client area, please contact your domain registrar.

Migration Completion Time: 48 working hours

Setup a brand New Hosting

Step 1: Welcome Email from Hostbreak

You will receive an account activation Email from Hostbreak after your payment completed. The email subject will be "Your account name.xyz is activated". In this email you will find:

  • cPanel/Plesk Log in credentials
  • Nameservers
  • FTP Account details
  • Email Settings

If the email does not land in your inbox within 10 minutes of order activation, check your spam/junk folder. Alternatively, log in to Client Area and click on Email History on the top right corner. 

Step 2: Change your DNS

To connect your domain name to your website you’ll need to change your nameservers.

Note: If your domain is registered with hostbreak, you can skip this step and move on to step 3.

Follow these steps to change your nameservers:

  1. Log in to the client area of the hosting company where your domain is registered.
  2. Go to manage domain > Manage DNS > Change Nameservers.
  3. Enter the nameservers which we provided to you in the account activation email.

If you cannot find the option to change Nameservers in your client area, please contact your domain registrar.

Option 2: Upload Website files through FTP:

If your website is already developed, you can upload the files to public_html through FTP. To download and configure the FTP Client on your laptop, follow this tutorial:

Check your account activation email for the following FTP account details:

  • Hostname
  • Username
  • Password

When the FTP connection is established, upload the website files to the public_html directory in case of cPanel.

If you are availed windows hosting, you will upload files to httpdocs directory in your Plesk panel.

Option 3: Make a new website through a free website builder

Windows hosting:

  • Log in to Plesk Panel, click on Applications.
  • You will see WordPress, Joomla and Drupal website builders.
  • Install any website builder. The most commonly used builder is WordPress.

Linux Hosting:

  1. Log in to cPanel, search Softaculous in the search bar.
  2. You will see multiple website builder options, install any one of them.
  3. Most of the websites are WordPress based. To install WordPress, click on its icon.
  4. Click on Install Now.

Software setup

  • Choose the software version (it is recommended to select the latest version)
  • Also, select the domain name on which you want to install the software.
  • Leave the ‘In Directory’ field blank to install directly on your domain name e.g. https://yourdomain.com

Site Settings

  • Enter your site name and a brief description of your site.

 Admin account

  • Set a strong admin password and note it down somewhere. You will later use this password to login to the WordPress dashboard.
  • In advance options, you can set the customized database name and backup rotation.
  • Under Select theme section, you can select any theme according to your website requirement. If you haven’t finalized the layout yet, you can leave this section unselected and can set the theme later.
  • Provide an email where you want to receive installation details. You can leave this field blank if you don’t need an installation completion notification on your email.
  • Click Install

 When installation finishes, you will see the website URL as well as the WordPress administrative URL.

You can always access wp-admin through this URL: https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

Go to wp Dashboard through the administrative link, In the left panel, you will see multiple options to customize and publish your website.
