The home or default page is the first page that is displayed to any visitor when they type your domain name in their web browser.

Well , one can set his own home page or index page by following the given steps:-
- Login to your Plesk Control Panel.
- In the left Menu, point to Domains and then click on the website for which you want to set custom page.
- 4. Under Files section, click on the arrow on you see to show drop down box and then click on Web Directories.
- Click Directory Properties, you will now see interface where you can set the default homepage document for your site.
- The default pages order can be managed as mentioned below:
- Adding a page to the default pages list: Specify in the Default Document Search Order field, the file name which you wish add to the default pages list and click the Add button. You may add as many pages as you wish to this list.
- Modifying the default pages order: You may modify the order of the default pages by selecting a filename and using the Move Up/Move Down button.
- Removing a page from the default pages list: If so desired, a page can be removed from the default pages list by selecting the filename and then clicking the Remove button.
- 5. Click the OK button to save the changes.
